On the inside of the front door of any Inn, you can find posted the laws of the land. Below you will find them listed here. Click on any rule to view the details/explanation of that rule. If you are new to the board or a new rule has been posted it is highly recommended that you read the details of that rule to avoid any confusion by its meaning and to completely understand any exceptions that may apply to it.

  1. Keep updated on the current laws of the land, as new laws are always being added.


  2. Current laws are subject to change at any time.


  3. Any post is permissible to be edited by the Admins/Moderators without prior notice.


  4. Admins/Moderators may inform you that you have to change a post, even if you have not broken any law.


  5. Killing of another Player's Character is expressly forbidden without their permission and having informed a moderator/admin of the agreement to kill the character.


  6. You must follow the posting format for this board in order to play.


  7. You must submit a Character Sheet to realm_of_asceri@yahoo.com in order to get approval to play that character.


  8. First time players must submit both the character sheet and their first post with that character.

  9. No God-Modding is allowed. You may not make an invincible character. God like heritages are not allowed. Powers of the same nature are also not allowed. Submitting such a character is grounds for rejection.


  10. Be Creative in making your characters, backgrounds, story lines, powers, etc. Variety IS a good thing! Please do not continually use the same character (even with a slight modification) in every story line.


  11. Story Tellers need to be flexible with their story lines and take into consideration the other players input.

  12. Respect Story Lines; Do Not Just Jump In.

  13. Respect Others Players/Writers.


  14. No Player Knowledge is allowed.

  15. NO ILLEGAL SEXUAL ACTS!!

  16. No Insane Characters unless given permission.


  17. No Characters from other worlds.

  18. No Anime/Cartoony Characters!

  19. NO MODERN WEAPONRY OR CLOTHING!

  20. Characters do not equal Players. If a character reacts a certain way to your character that does NOT mean that the player feels the same way. DO NOT confuse the two.


  21. No Harrassing of Players in any way!

  22. Time and Space apply here on this world. You may not be in more than one place at one time.


  23. Try to keep the legal sexual posting in line and in Under Lock N Key forum.


  24. Obey the Admins/Moderators when given an order.


  25. Ignorance of the law is NO EXCUSE.


  26. There are punishments for breaking the laws and they will be followed through on!


  27. We are currently accepting no characters of royalty from beginning players.


  28. We are currently accepting no shops/stores/taverns or the like that are not already up.


  29. Please do not start a thread in the Homes section and wait for a reply. Post elsewhere for a better response.


  30. You have the right to seek an audience with the Admins/Moderators.


  31. Please do not over use accents or use accents in anything but dialog.


  32. Follow the chain of command to make a complaint, make a request, or to inform us of a situation.
